At Glenn we build our custom bathroom cabinet like we would any other furniture. Furniture vanities are the most popular among the custom designed units, and this is due to the numerous styles of antique and contemporary furniture that can be modified for use as a vanity. The interior of a typical bedroom dresser can be accessorized to accommodate under counter plumbing connections, as well as storage shelves. Existing drawers of a dresser design can remain for linens or other accessories, and the hardwood finish can be upgraded with several coats of moisture resistant clear coat.

We only use frame-and-panel construction for the cabinets, doors and the drawers. Optional the drawers may be solid wood with shaped fronts where our clients want specialty carved designs.

The frame-and-panel doors consist of two uprights, called stiles, and two horizontal pieces, called rails. For bigger doors we have a third horizontal piece, or cross rail, in the middle. The frame pieces have dadoes cut along their inside edges for floating panels. The frames is assembled with mortise-and-tenon joints.

All of our cabinets are built from solid grade A woods of either Teak, Mahogany or Pine. Teak is excellent for outdoors and wet environments like bathrooms and kitchens because of its natural resistance to decay and other fungus growths.

Our cabinets have the highest of quality finish that is water resistant..

We use Blum European hardware for our drawers and doors.
